Using my own photographs for reference as well as painting and drawing from life, I create with the desire to express the serenity, magnitude, power, comfort, and awe of this beautiful natural world that is too often forced to compete for my attention. To copy another artist 'I paint the paintings that I like to look at.' Should they appeal to others similarly, I couldn't be happier.

Following a period of hobby painting and exhibiting at coffee shops, I began exhibiting my work professionally at Reserve - Our Gallery in Woodland Park, CO in 2021, where I still show regularly. My work has recently been exhibited at the Eichman Gallery in Woodland Park, Garden of the Gods Visitor Center, Commonwheel Artist Coop, and the Alvarez Gallery and Art School in Colorado Springs.

A majority of my finished paintings are professionally matted and framed, using all acid free materials and museum quality glass to eliminate glare.
